4/05/04:
I bring you the last of the Digimon Racing info, some Booster 24 information, and some stuff about Digimon World 4 and Digimon Rumble Arena 2. I left the last update on this page since it's relevant. ;)

The release date of Booster 24 has been at last set in late June 2004. The set will be called "Royal Knights vs. The Seven Great Demon Lords". Many new Digimon are said to appear in this set, including the Seventh of the Seven Great Demon Lords and possibly more of the thirteen Royal Knights. It seems there will be around fifty different cards. It's also rumored that the other Olympus 12 Gods will appear.

I've also discovered that the eight Adventure Digimon are in fact NOT the only playable characters in Digimon Racing. The following are hidden characters:

V-Mon
Guilmon
Flamon

Digimon World 4 is only for Gamecube and Xbox and maybe PS2. A little of the story is known; the hero is taking a bus that slams it's brakes, making the hero faint and when he wakes up, it's in the Digital World...

In Rumble Arena 2, the Spirits and Digimentals supposedly appear, and jogress is possible. Characters know to appear are: Agumon, Greymon, Metal Greymon, War Greymon, Gabumon, Garurumon, Were Garurumon, Metal Garurumon, Piyomon, Birdramon, Garudamon, Hououmon, Tentomon, Kabuterimon, Atlur Kabuterimon, Heracles Kabuterimon, Palmon, Togemon, Lilymon, Rosemon, Gomamon, Ikkakumon, Zudomon, Plesiomon, V-Mon, X-V-mon, Paildramon, Imperial Dramon, Wormmon, Stingmon, Dino Beemon, Grand Kuwagamon, Hawkmon, Aquilamon, Silphymon, Valkyriemon, Armadimon, Ankylomon, Shakkoumon, Vikemon, Patamon, Angemon, Holy Angemon, Seraphimon, Guilmon, Growmon, Megalo Growmon, Dukemon, Terriermon, Gargomon, Rapidmon, Saint Galgomon, Renamon, Kyuubimon, Taomon, Sakuyamon, Flamon, Agnimon, Vritramon, Ardhamon, Kaiser Greymon, and presumably Strabimon, Wolfmon, Garmmon, Beowulfmon, and Magna Garurumon.
Bandai of Japan has launched their Digimon Racing website here. It would appear from the "Racers" page that the only playable characters in Digimon Racing are Koromon, Agumon, Greymon, Tsunomon Gabumon, Garurumon, Tanemon, Palmon, Togemon, Tokomon Patamon, Angemon, Motimon, Tentomon, Kabuterimon, Pyocomon, Piyomon, Birdramon, Nyaromon, Plotmon, Tailmon, Bukamon, Gomamon, and Ikkakumon. They're not seperate, of course, you have to evolve to them. I've also translated their ratings:

Anyway, can also supposedly battle three other people using the wireless adapter, and Diablomon and Omegamon appear in screenshots.*shrugs*

Also, according to the LCD site, Booster 24 will be coming out sometime in June. Call it a tentative release date.

Oh, and I added some stuff to the IRC page...yeah...
Edit: I've been shown screenshots of Guilmon and Vritramon racing. Unlockable characters? At any rate, with those two, and assuming they have two other forms like the rest, the total number of characters comes to the expected 30.

1/13/04:
Digimon Racing has 30 or more appearing Digimon, and by gathering energy you can evolve. You can attack other racers with your Digimon's special attacks, and there are two different kind of races - Cup Race/Grand Prix Race and a simple quick/practice race. You can see any trophies you win in Grand Prix races in the "Trophy Room". It will be only for Gameboy Advance. From what I hear, it's supposed to be a very good game with excellent graphics...still don't have an exact release date for it.

Digimon Rumble Arena 2 will have 49 or more characters, from all the shows - Adventure, 02, Tamers, and Frontier. You can play with three other people at once if you want, and it will be on the Gamecube and Xbox for sure, possibly PS2. The exact release date seems to be on May 2nd or 3rd.

The exact release date for Digimon World 4 is currently April 12th, 2004. It definitely be for Playstation 2, not sure about anything else. Yes people, those are America release dates. ;)

And in Chronicle news, I hear something about a "new phase of the Digital World!"...

   Release Dates
Digimon World 4:
Out in Japan in 2005; the US release date is at this time unknown. The only ones listed are wrong. However, the Bandai of America site is located HERE, and it will doubtless list the release date when there is one.

Digimon Rumble Arena 2:
Out in Japan now, the Bandai of American site is HERE, I have HEARD September 7th as a release date, but I am unsure of it's veracity.

The UK Digimon DVDs and the third Tamers manga volume should also be out this month.
