Duskmon has defeated all of the Chosen, and was about to kill Kouji in a later episode when he Double Spirit Evolved into Beowulfmon. Beowulfmon and Duskmon were equal in strength, and when they attacked each other, for a moment, Kouji saw Kouichi inside of Duskmon. Cherubimon later gave Duskmon the Spirit of Darkness B. He then attacked the Forest Terminal with a massive army, and when Seraphimon's army began to counter his, he deleted both armies, and used Lightning Spear on Seraphimon, severely injuring him. Seraphimon was then sealed in a crystal, which the Chosen Children found in episode 13. Cherubimon began the process of collecting all Digi-Code possible and destroying the Digital World. When Seraphimon was released, four Hybrids under Cherubimon's command killed him. Cherubimon also corrupted Kouichi and the Spirits of Darkness, causing them to create Duskmon and Velgmon. Eventually, Cherubimon lost Kouichi to the Chosen as well, and Löwemon and Kaiser Leomon, the Digimon resulting from Kouichi and the uncorrupted Spirits of Darkness, destroyed a weaker clone of Cherubimon. Cherubimon had managed to capture Ophanimon, and put her in the Cage of Light. However, soon the Chosen Children came to the Venus Rose, and Ardhamon and Beowulfmon gave time for Ophanimon to be released. Cherubimon then took all the D-Scanners, but a freed Ophanimon temporarily reverted him to his Vaccine form, which was in pain, and took the D-Scanners back. He easily defeated the Chosen Children at first, but over time it became more and more difficult. Finally, with the aid of Lucemon, he and Dynasmon were able to scan the entire Digital World for Lucemon - and Lucemon was revived. Lucemon sent the Royal Knights to kill the Chosen Children, but they failed. Lucemon scanned their data and evolved into Lucemon Falldown Mode.

Lucemon - Lucemon was the Terror of Legends, the Digimon that stopped the war between human and beast Digimon, and then became a cruel dictator. He plans to delete the entire Digital World and all the Digimon, and then use the data to create a new, perfect world where there are never any conflicts. In ancient times, the Warrior Ten gave their lives to seal Lucemon in the Dark Area, but for countless years he has been growing stronger. He corrupted Cherubimon, and once he had the data Cherubimon sent him, he was able to send the Royal Knights Rhodo Knightmon and Dynasmon to gather the rest of the Digital World's data. At last, in episode 46, he was revived, and he told the Chosen Children his plans for his Digital World. He dispatched them with what is probably Divine Feat, and sent the Royal Knights to finish them off. Upon their failure, he descended and took in their Digi-Code, and evolved into Lucemon Falldown Mode, who is Perfect level. Lucemon, however, was Child level, Vaccine attribute, with the attacks Divine Feat and Grand Cross.

The Chosen Children arrived to stop him, but Dead or Alive devolved them all and killed Kouichi. A furious Takuya and Kouji Ancient Spirit Evolved into Susanoomon, who killed Falldown Mode with Heavenly Wings Beheading.

Lucemon Satan Mode/Larva - Lucemon Falldown Mode's remaining data formed into Lucemon Larva, while that of the Dark Area became Lucemon Satan Mode. Lucemon Satan Mode flew to the Real World, stopping the Chosen from resisting him with Purgatorial Flame. He began to convert the Real World into data, but the Chosen Children all evolved into Susanoomon and pulled him back into the Digital World, managing to survive Lucemon Satan Mode's Divine Atonement. Realising that Lucemon Larva controlled Satan Mode, Susanoomon destroyed Satan Mode's Dark Area, and injured Larva. Eight Thunder Gods killed Satan Mode, but a desperate Larva attacked Susanoomon from behind, devolving him. All the Hybrids came out and slashed Larva to death.
