A King Digimon that works secretly towards the building of a great Chessmon Empire, even though no one understands what it is or where it would be, and they aren't interested. King Chessmon is a coward, and he usually doesn't attack, he just runs away as quick as he can, which goes with his favorite phrase, "Escape is victory!" He does, surprisingly, have a brain on the level of a supercomputer. When it can't be helped, his special move is Checkmate. When his life hangs in the balance, this is a technique with transcendent offensive capabilities. He can also attack with his King Stick that he carries around and use it to create shadow warriors, and King Dash, where he runs away really fast. King Dash is the attack he is most proud of.
