The Justice Genome Version of the Digimon Accelerator The Evil Genome Version of the Digimon Accelerator

The Digimon Accel, or Digimon Accelerator, is a new Digimon V-Pet from Bandai of Japan. It comes in two different versions: the blue and white Justice Genome, and the red and black Evil Genome. The Justice Genome features Digimon like Bantyo Leomon, and the Evil Genome features Digimon like Darkdramon.

The Digimon Accelerator has the ability to scan Digimon Data Plates (DDPs), which are sold seperately, with its "Matrix Sensor". Currently, there are two packs of Digimon Data Plates, the File 1.0 and the File 2.0. There are four different types of data in Digimon Data Plates: Digimon DNA Data, Weapon Data, and Rare DNA Data. Each Digimon Data Plate pack contains 13 total Digimon Data Plates. The contents of the File 1.0 and 2.0 are:

Rare Data seems to be obtainable only from stores during special events, but the official site does claim there is one Rare DNA Data DDP in each of the File Packs - however, the total of DDPs in a pack is supposed to be 13, and as you can see above, there seem to be that many non-rare DDPs . The six Rare DDPs are B-Knuckle, Ice Claw, W-Sword, L-Hammer, D-Cannon, and E-Lance.

The purpose of Digimon DNA data in the Digimon Accelerator appears to be to influence the evolution of your Digimon. There are eight types of DNA Data: Dragon, Holy, Aquatic, Beast, Machine, Bird, Darkness, and Insect. When a Digimon has more DNA Data of one type than any other, they will evolve to a Digimon of that type. For example, a Snimon, who has mostly Insect Data, will evolve to Garudamon with enough Bird DNA Data, or a Megadramon with enough Machine DNA data.

different skins on the Accel?

The Digimon Accelerator also has an "Accel Grip". There are five levels to the Access Grip, and the final level, Overdrive, allows you to Blast Evolve your Digimon. It would also seem that the Digimon Accelerator has different skins, so you can easily change the way it looks.

The Digimon Accelerator costs 2625 yen in Japan, and the DDPs cost 100 yen. Go check a currency convertor for the price in dollars or any other currency.
